Ms. Megan Francic
Megan Francic took over a couple of months ago as USDA Attache’ Bangladesh. She was earlier the Agricultural Attaché at the OAA HCMC. Megan joined FAS in 2015, and this is her first overseas assignment. Previously, she served as the Office of Country and Regional Affairs Desk Officer for Brazil and the Southern Cone and the Grain and Feed Analyst for Asia. Prior to joining FAS, Megan worked for Catholic Relief Services, Care International- Madagascar, and served in Peace Corps Madagascar.
She also was a Fellow on the Senate Agriculture Committee during drafting of the 2014 Farm Bill and a Consultant at the OECD Trade and Agriculture Directorate, Development Division. She has a Master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies in International Development and International Economics and a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania in International Relations.
